E.G. Con Bookmark Design Contest
Thank you to everyone who submitted a vendor application for E.G. Con. We will be sharing a full schedule of events and more details about the April 11th event very soon!
 
In the meantime, we're excited to be hosting a Bookmark Design Contest, a fun and creative way for young artists ages 10-18 to be a part of E.G. Con! Winning designs will be printed and shared at the convention. 

Taxpayer Assistance Program (TAP)
Representatives from the NYS Taxation & Finance Department will be at the library to provide taxpayer assistance on the following dates and times. TAP eligibility requirements apply.  You can only make appointments online. You must have working email account.

 Join us on the 1st day of Spring!  Learn all the basic techniques needed for a successful watercolor by painting loose and free depictions of individual leaves and/or a group of leaves.

Discover a relaxing night of creativity at the library. This program combines guided painting with handcrafted mocktails (cocktails without the liquor.) No pressure, no prior experience—just a chance to explore your artistic side and enjoy a refreshing drink with fellow community members.

Greenbush Garden Club: Everyone Loves Tomatoes!  Tuesday, March 3rd at 6 p.m.
Join us to learn about the different types of tomatoes, options on planting, basic tomato plant care, and how to harvest and preserve your crop. This presentation also provides some insight into pest and diseases that threaten your tomato crop.

Discover how tenant farmers of the Hudson-Mohawk region used poetry and song to fuel the 19th-century Anti-Rent movement. Author Nancy Newman shares music and stories from her new book, revealing how protest and performance helped amplify their fight for land rights.

Kids Book Bags (Gr 3-5)

A free book-based blind bag just for kids! Each Kids Book Bag will include 2-3 library books based on your reading preferences, as well as snacks and surprises selected just for you. While the book(s) and bag need to be returned to the library, everything else is yours to keep! Pickup begins Monday, March 30.
